What is a Day of Coordinator?
For couples who have done all the planning for their wedding, a popular service is hiring a Day-Of Coordinator or Month-Of Coordinator to oversee the details.
It is sometimes referred to as "Month-Of" because the wedding coordinator will commence their services about 4 weeks prior to the wedding day. To get familiar with your wedding plans, usually 1-2 meetings are needed to go through the itinerary, to see to the last minute details and what has been discussed with vendors. No matter what the service is called, these meetings are vital to communicate your vision and expectations for your special day. Along with this preparation is having the wedding coordinator present at your wedding rehearsal, so that that everyone is on the same page when it comes to the ceremony.
On the wedding day, the main role of the Day-Of Coordinator is to ensure that your plans are carried out smoothly and to discreetly handle any problems that may arise. This also means you can arrive to a perfectly set up ceremony and reception, since your coordinator will have already arrived in advance to make sure it is set up properly. They are also the liaison with the venue, food manager, decorators, MC, DJ, photographer and parents; they pull the pieces of the puzzle together.
With an experienced Day-Of Coordinator watching over the details of the day, you can enjoy all the special moments with your family and friends without stressing. This also means that your bridal party and family can enjoy the day too! I can’t tell you how many weddings I have been to where the bridal party and close family are running around and stressing because the couple did not hire a wedding coordinator. Not only do you want to relax on your wedding day, those closest to you should as well. Entrust your special day to a wedding professional with the experience and flexibility to handle any last-minute changes that may come up, so you can enjoy your celebration. We look forward to assisting you in creating wedding memories that will last a lifetime!

7 Reasons to hire a Day of Coordinator:
1) Your event should be a pleasure, not a process ~
A professional coordinators job is to take away the stress and worry of the details so that you can enjoy your special day. We will be there for you and your guests, ensuring everyone and everything is in place. Your only job is to say "I do," dance, laugh, and enjoy time with your family and friends.
2) Personalized Assistance ~
Some locations may offer a coordinator or banquet captain the day of your event, this is not the same as a professional planner. A venue's coordination services typically ensure that details related to the facility are covered. The first responsibility of facility coordinators (church and reception site) is to the venue, not the bride and groom. These coordinators will only supervise vendors contracted through the facility. We will be there to make sure everything is perfect - from making sure everyone knows where to be that day to when to have your items packed and ready to go at the end of the event.
3) Details & Design ~
Take advantage of our years of event planning expertise to provide design ideas and resources to make your vision real. Not sure how to word something, where someone should sit, where is the perfect location to celebrate or where to stay? Many of those details that make your event unique can be left to us.
4) Mediator/Peacekeeper ~
Planning a wedding or event can be a little stressful. With so many options and so many opinions, our job is not just to be there to make sure an itinerary is followed or tablecloths are the right color. We are also there to help navigate sticky situations, lend a neutral ear, be a calming presence, and ensure that your event stays true to your vision.
5) Timeline ~
The day of your event is an exciting one! You should not have to worry yourself making sure everyone will get to the event on time or if the caterers know when to cut the cake.
We will be there to make sure everyone knows where to go, when to be there, and what is expected so you can just enjoy your day.
6) To Help Set Up and Interact with Vendors ~
The Day-of Coordinator directs the rehearsal, makes sure everything runs to the timeline and coordinates the day’s events. We are your liaison with your vendors, venue and wedding party and double-check all details and contracts. Since you are busy being the bride, your coordinator can be at the venue setting up and confirming all deliveries have arrived on time, and going over each and every detail so that everything is perfect.
7) To Help with Preparations and Plans ~
Although the coordinator is hired for the big day, we still need to meet beforehand to discuss details, responsibilities and your vision. It is also expected that a lot of the planning is already done beforehand, we carry out your plans based on your preparations. We can also help with last minute style and décor ideas as well as any wedding day back up plans.
